Mango, Kānuka + Lemon Hand Balm

The star ingredient of this skin-softening hand balm is Mango Butter.

Mango Butter contains the beneficial fatty acids that shea butter has like oleic, stearic and palmitic acid and so is great for hydration, but also contains mangiferin and caffeic acid which have anti-oxidant and anti-inflamatory properties.

For this formula I’ve paired it with jojoba oil. Jojoba oil acts as an emollient to help lock in hydration, and to prevent the formula from becoming too heavy. 

I’ve added Kānuka and lemon essential oils because they create a wonderful uplifting scent when paired together. 

It is non-greasy, and dries down quickly on the skin.
